In April of 2007, CantaFlor went on a musical and educational Tour to Antigua, Guatemala where they performed live with many musicians from Guatemala. They also interviewed musicians and artists and the indigenous people of Lake Atitlan.

The Duo CantaFlor presents lectures at public libraries, schools, colleges and Universities with the purpose of teaching about Folklore traditions through storytelling, musical performances, and through the demonstration of various instruments, photographs and videos from various corners of Latin America.

"We give our audiences an inside view of the richness of these traditions which we admire and respect and which have been passed down to us by our ancestors."

Performances-lectures include:

Día de los Muertos, Women’s History Month, SRJC Art Gallery Presentation, Santa Rosa Ethnic Festival, San Francisco Mission Gallería, Spanish Film Festival, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Awards Presentation, Roseland Health Clinic, KBBF Radio, Channel 72 Television interview.

Dolores Huerta Fund Raiser, Latino American Song Festival San Francisco, and Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, Santa Rosa Junior College Lecture Series, Festival de la Canción in San Francisco, Sonoma County Library series presents CantaFlor. Petaluma Arts Council Lectures/series and performances.
